We visited NYC October 25-26 October 2002

We first went to Ellis Island and then to the Statue of Liberty. Downtown NYC behind Leon, Rebecca, Blake and Jacob. Tim is taking the picture holding Noah.

Ellis Island is behind Leon and the boys.

We went to Central Park and they were having
Fall Festivities.
The boys each got a pumpkin from the
pumpkin patch at Central Park.

We had no idea how large Central
Park was until we arrived. We
stopped at a playground in the park
so the boys could have a break.

Blake, Noah and Tim rode the Carousel at
Central Park. Jacob was not interested. Like his Pop,
he was more interested in getting a bite to eat
while the others rode.

Noah had a blast on the Carousel.

We next headed to the Empire State Building. This photo is in the lobby. They warned us that the fog had rolled in and visibility was zero at the top. Nevertheless, the boys were still excited about going to the top (Rebecca wasn't too thrilled).

They consider the Empire State Building the "Eighth Wonder of the World". I don't know what Andre the Giant would think about that.

This is a shot of the top from the 86th floor observation deck.

The fog started to thin, however you still could only see the ground, nothing on the horizon.
